My name is Stef, and this is how Amelia Romeo was born.

I grew up in Milan. Since I was a little girl I would drag my mother through every shop searching for one thing sparkle. Sequins, shimmer, anything that caught the light.

That obsession never left me.

I studied fashion. I worked in fashion. In 2012 I packed up my life in Milan and moved to the Gold Coast, Australia. Pilates every morning. Ocean straight after class. A life equal parts movement and beauty.

And then I noticed something that drove me crazy.

Activewear had completely forgotten about us. The woman who loves subtle shimmer and feminine details. Who refuses to choose between feeling beautiful and living fully.

So in 2025 I created the world I wanted a hybrid. Pieces that take you from the studio to the ocean and simply transform into a bikini. No changing. No compromising. Just you, moving through your day looking exactly how you want to look.

I pack every single order myself. I design every piece around my life as a mum, working full time, building something beautiful in the hours in between.
